8 minutes to connect to your Bliss and REcenter yourself!
The key to meditation is to notice the thoughts and let them float on by. Don’t resist or struggle and your thoughts will begin to slow down.
Guided meditation provides an anchor but there also needs to be a space either after or at other times where one meditates without a goal, without a prop. Just allowing whatever is in the heart center to come up and reveal itself, to allow yourself to feel. Not looking, seeking, following or creating….then amazing things begin to happen in meditation because we have left the mind!
FYI…my goal when I was first beginning to meditate was to be able to meditate anywhere. I found a quiet place in my home that would not be interrupted, however, finding quiet in a busy household and life in America is a funny goal!! I began to see that I could use the noises around me in my meditation as well. Now I can meditate anywhere and hit center quickly but that took time, lots of release of the ego baggage and practice.
This meditation, once activated in your system can be done without the audio anytime you need it, anywhere so one can recenter and anchor to Bliss. A Bliss vacation in the middle of a busy day, busy mind……I find that essential for myself.
I walked my daughter through this after picking her up from school as we drove and was delighted with what she found as her Bliss anchors. I wasn’t meditating, of course, but just as example of how playful and light meditation in life can be and what our children can do in moments – she’s 16.
Blessings of Light and Love to you!
